On Monday the children from years 1-4 spent a very cold day at Frogmary Green Farm to do a variety of activities. The children explored the wild areas of the farm discussing the names and uses of plants. The children also got to have a look around the farm and see the farm machinery, including tractors and lorries. They also got to see the chickens that they farm, all 50,000 of them! Back in the classroom on site, the children planted cress and onion sets. After lunch it was back to exploring the hedgerows, looking for evidence of wildlife.
