We are a Church of England School and are incredibly proud of our strong Christian ethos and the links with St. Leonard’s Church in Misterton. We worship in the church several times each year to celebrate a number of events such as Harvest, Christmas, Easter as well as a joint leavers’ service with Ashlands and St Bartholomews Schools at St Bartholomew’s Church in Crewkerne. We hold a daily worship in school and are supported by members of the church and diocese who also lead regular worship sessions.

Our Schools visions and Values

Learning and Growing Together

The following aims demonstrate our commitment to provide equality of access to a broad, balanced curriculum for all our pupils:

  • To enable children to develop their full potential in all aspects of the curriculum.
  •  To provide children with an education appropriate to the world beyond the classroom.
  •  To develop in children a love of learning and a desire to continue to expand their knowledge and skills throughout their education and life.
  •  To help children to live together within a community, to develop sensitivity to others and become responsible, independent people.
  •  To develop in children a positive sense of moral responsibility and self discipline.

Our Golden Rules

We are gentle and kind.

We are polite and helpful.

We listen.

We are honest.

We work hard.
